Donate to the YouCaring for Maisha Bradley Here:
It is with a heavy heart that the William M. Meredith School community is creating this fundraiser to support the Bradley family during this time of great loss. Maisha Bradley passed suddenly on November 3, 2017 as a result of a medical condition. Our community was devastated to lose such an amazing person. Mrs. Bradley was a beloved 5th grade teacher who touched the lives of so many young people during her 14 years of service in the School District of Philadelphia. She also ran the Summer Program at the Marian Anderson Recreation Center in South Philadephia. She was not only a teacher but a devoted daughter, mother and wife. She leaves behind her mother Christine, husband Troy, her son Mateen, who is a freshman in college, her daughter Samiyah, who is a freshman in high school, and her youngest son Yazid, who is a first grader here at Meredith. Both of her older children graduated from Meredith.
We are raising money to support her family and for an ongoing educational fund for the children.
Our school community extends our heartfelt condolences to the family and we are hoping to help support them through this difficult time.
