The Meredith Newspaper Club information session on Monday was a hit! We were blown away by the turnout of over seventy students! We left the meeting with wheels turning, ready to make these dreams into a reality.
If your student is ready to commit to the newspaper club, please fill out this form. This form will be used to create the club roster, including writers, reporters, and photographers!
To accommodate the large number of interested students, we will split into two groups, grades 3-5 and grades 6-8. Given these two groups, we will still meet after school once a week, but the groups will alternate weeks. In December, both groups will meet together twice as we prepare the first issue for print.
Meetings will be held on Mondays from 3:30-5 pm as follows:

Meredith’s (first ever) Newspaper Club will produce seasonal issues of a school newspaper to distribute to the Meredith community. Each issue will feature interviews, grade-level highlights, school news, and special interest articles.
