Harvest Feast is a beloved annual tradition that brings students, teachers, staff, and families together as a school community by sharing favorite dishes from our families and cultures. Parent volunteers serve this delicious potluck feast to celebrate our different cultural heritages and Meredith families’ favorite foods during student lunchtimes.
Part of our Harvest Feast tradition has always been supporting our Meredith families and staff experiencing food insecurity. If your family is experiencing food insecurity during these difficult times, please don’t hesitate to contact our school counselor, Faith Zaback, at fzaback@philasd.org, to receive a private and discreet bountiful meal just for your family from Harvest Feast. Any remaining food after we’ve fed our Meredith family is traditionally donated to our local VFW in Queen Village to feed our veterans.

Share a Dish
Share a favorite family recipe or dish of cultural significance! You need only make one pan that’s provided for you and it will be put out during your child’s lunch.

- Free Harvest Feast pans and lids will be available outside the office and in the school yard: 11/5, 11/7, 11/10, 11/12
- Drop off food Thursday 11/13 from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. in the cafeteria!
