The official dress code is provided each year in the Family & Student Handbook.
Below, we’ve provided a (hopefully!) easy to understand summary of the Meredith school uniform guidelines for the new school year.

Please Note: If a scholar is dressed at any time in a way that takes away from the learning environment, the Principal and/or Counselor may meet with them to change into school issued items or contact family to bring a change of clothes.
Where To Find Uniform Items
Official Meredith logo t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies can be purchased throughout the school year through the HSA at our school store. In August, we’ll also let you know about any Uniform Swap events so you can find gently used hand-me-downs from other Meredith families. You may find swap items offered throughout the year on Facebook groups like Parents of Meredith or Neighborly Gifting as well.
Light blue, black, and gray shirts can also be purchased at various retail stores, including but not limited to Target, Old Navy, Walmart and others. It is not necessary to buy a specific brand to meet the uniform guidelines.
Dress Down Days
During Dress Down Days, all students, K-8, are highly encouraged to wear clothing representative of the theme for the Dress Down Day or may choose to wear the usual Meredith School uniform. Dress Down Days are typically held about once per month, and a $1 donation is requested.
Uniform FAQs
Do students’ uniform shirts need to have a collar?
No. Students may choose to wear polo shirts or other collared shirts, but t-shirts, blouses, and other styles of tops are also ok!
Please be sure to consult the chart above for details on specific colors that may be worn by grade. Other than official Meredith logo apparel, tops should have no writing or graphics.
Are shirts with stripes, patterns, and prints ok?
No. Other than official Meredith logo apparel, all tops, bottoms, and dresses should be solid-colored without large logos, brand names, patterns, prints, stripes, graphics, etc.
Polo shirts with very small logos on the pocket are acceptable.
Do pants need to be a specific color?
No, pants, shorts, and other bottoms may be ANY solid color.
Do dresses need to be a specific color?
No, dresses may be ANY solid color.
