Hello All!
This will be my last Art Buzz of the year! I would like to highlight a few exciting things happening in the Art Studio.
First, our paint chip mosaic mural, Snapshots of Childhood Joy: The Meredith Mosaic, will be installed by the end of June on the exterior windows of Meredith Elementary. See the mock-up below!

This project took about four months of hard work, creativity, and collaboration. The participating classes included M1 and all 5th–7th grade classes. Students worked thoughtfully to create mosaics that celebrate childhood joy, community, and imagination.
Second, our 2nd grade students created greeting cards for Wallflower Paper & Party. The cards will be exhibited in the store’s front window, and eight students had their artwork selected to be professionally printed and sold in the shop!
The selected students are:
- Rosa – Room 201
- Hannah – Room 208
- Connelly – Room 208
- Addison – Room 208
- Noa – Room 202
- Harriet – Room 202
- Maya – Room 202
- Sterling – Room 202
Proceeds from the card sales will support the Home and School Association. See the cards below!

Lastly, this year our students celebrated Jewish American Heritage Month through a collaborative project centered on the theme, The Tree of Life. Students created meaningful leaves to be displayed on the tree, reflecting growth, connection, and community. This installation will be completed very soon!
Thank you to all of the students, staff, and families who supported the visual arts this year. Have a wonderful summer!
