Join us for Back to School Night on Thursday, September 24th from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.
All parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend. This is a great chance to meet your children’s teachers, see their classrooms, and get an overview of the year’s curriculum.
The evening will begin at 5:00 with a short community meeting in the auditorium, where you’ll hear from Principal Brevard, the Home & School Association, and the School Advisory Council.
From there, head to the classrooms! The rest of the evening is broken up into multiple twenty-minute sessions so that parents with more than one child at Meredith have a chance to visit multiple classrooms and can visit with our specialists (art, music, technology, physical education) or special education teachers.
On your way between sessions, stop by and learn about community programs at information tables in the hallways.
A few important notes about Back to School Night:
- This is a program for adult caregivers only. Childcare will not be provided on-site; please plan accordingly.
- Back to School Night is not intended as an evening to have 1:1 conversation with teachers, but rather a time to obtain an overview of what to expect during the school year. Please refrain from asking questions that pertain only to your child or to a specific issue during Back to School Night – reach out to teachers directly if you need 1:1 conference time.
- You WILL have an opportunity to meet some HSA board members and SAC parent reps, as well as representatives from select community programs.
