On Friday, October 2, from 6:30 – 9:30 P.M., join us for the Meredith Wine Mixer, featuring wine tasting, raffles, and much more! This annual fundraiser is a great way for parents and caregivers to meet and mingle.

Taste a variety of wines, enjoy delicious bites to eat from local restaurants, and try your luck. You’ll have a chance to restock your wine cabinet or win great prizes in our raffles – all while supporting our beloved school! This event is a fundraiser hosted by the Home & School Association, with all proceeds going to the Meredith School Fund.
The Wine Mixer is an adults-only (21+) event. However, on-site childcare (with pizza and a snack) is available for a fee of $25 per child.
Wine Tasting Contest
The centerpiece of the event is our wine tasting contest! Here’s how it works.
Bring two bottles of the same wine.
- One bottle is anonymously entered into the wine tasting contest.
- One bottle goes into the prize pool.
You are encouraged to bring any type of wine you enjoy – red or white, dry or sweet, sparkling, etc. Non-alcoholic wines are also welcome! We suggest wines priced at about $20 per bottle as a guideline.
Remember, EACH GUEST participating in the wine tasting contest should bring two bottles of wine.
Taste as many wines as you want, then vote for your favorites!
- Vote for your favorite wines in various categories. Past categories have included Favorite Red, Favorite White, Rosé All Day, Favorite Label, and Funniest Name.
You could win up to half a case of wine!
- If your bottle wins in a category, you could win up to half a case of wine!
- Other top wines in each category will also receive prizes, ranging from 2-5 bottles.
- Non-alcoholic wines may be included.
If you do not drink wine and do not wish to participate in the wine tasting contest, please feel free to purchase a ticket to the Mixer and attend without bringing wine to share.
Support Meredith – It’s a Win-Win!
Even if you’re unable to join us at the event, you can still get in on the fun! Our Eagles Ticket Raffle will allow online entries in addition to in-person entries. Winners will be drawn on October 11th.
Remember, every event ticket or raffle ticket you purchase supports our school, closing the funding gap to provide what Meredith needs to operate. Thanks for doing your part to make our school the best it can be for our kids!
Members of the Home & School Association executive board and their immediate families are not eligible to enter these raffles.
