Meredith Murmur – Year 2 (2026-2027)

The Meredith Murmur is Back!

We’re excited to kick off another year of Newspaper Club at Meredith! 

Now in its second year, The Meredith Murmur is a student-led newspaper created to share Meredith culture and amplify student voices across our school community. Last year, our student journalists brought you two issues filled with interviews, stories, reviews, comics, puzzles, and more – and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the year ahead. 

What’s different this year?

Newspaper Club will be limited to 30 students in grades 4-8 and will meet *every* Monday after school from 3:30–4:45 PM, beginning October 5th.  Rather than dividing into two groups that meet on alternating weeks, everyone will work together each Monday. This will give us more consistency, more opportunities for collaboration, and the chance to really dig into our stories and creative pieces.

*Registration for the fall is for our first issue of the 2026–27 school year, with a commitment to participate weekly through December 7th.*

Because space is limited, please email meredithschoolnewspaper@gmail.com to request the official registration form. We’ll do our best to create an equitable mix of grades while also honoring first-come, first-served registration. Registration will close Thursday, October 1.
